West Bengal and Assam
Objective: To visit and explore the different lithologies of West Bengal and Assam and to visit the important natural museums
Fieldwork Report: Important rocks and minerals from West Bengal and Assam were collected to be preserved at the Geological Laboratory, Department of Geology, Lunglei Govt. College and visit to natural museums.
Place: Kolkata (West Bengal) and Brahmaputra Valley (Assam)
Outcomes: Rocks from Pre Cambrian to Recent were observed and collected to be preserved at the Geological Laboratory, Department of Geology, Lunglei Govt. College and natutal museum of Kolkata was visited.
The Department of Geology, Jadavpur University (Kolkata) was also visited.
